What is Community Class?
Community Class began in March 2021, founded by Laura Patterson and Jacqueleen Bordjadze. It is an open dance class for professional dance artists. All are welcome to come!
Our goal is to serve the Columbus community of dance professionals, providing a space to train, connect, and grow. As such, we feature a diverse roster of teachers from the Columbus area, offering affordable classes and ensuring that we pay teachers fairly for their labor. We value diversity, accessibility, transparency, and great dancing. We envision a Columbus dance community that socially and financially supports dance professionals in their thriving and energizing careers and artistic practices.
Cost: Community lass is free for our annual members. For non-members, purchase your CDA Individual Annual Membership for $10 below. All sales are final.
Location: Community Class takes place at Columbus Dance Theatre, 592 E Main St, Columbus, OH, 43215
